My roles include being an Independent Director on the board of Master Plumbers, Gasfitters and Drainlayers.
What do you do in your current role?
I bring governance expertise and an external perspective to the board.
What do you particularly enjoy about it?
Working with industry experts who have a passion for the plumbing industry and are working to ensure it is sustainable and thriving now and in the future.
How long have you been with your organisation?
I joined the Master Plumbers, Gasfitters and Drainlayers Board in late 2022.
How do you find working in a male dominated industry?
I have found the Master PlumbersBboard to be very welcoming and inclusive. As one of the three women on the board I feel our contributions are well respected and valued.
As a professional director and governance advisor I often work with male dominated boards. I always prepare well to ensure I understand the business/industry I’m dealing with, so that I feel and project my input/expertise with confidence.
