Labour Weekend

Kereama CarmodyKereama Carmody - Master Plumbers / Masterlink Wellbeing Coach shares his update:

Hey Team, the long weekend is upon us, and I hope you are having a three day break (not two).

I’ve done the seven hour drive north from Christchurch to recharge and have some time out in Golden Bay. If you are reading this blog before the weekend begins, find some time to get away, have some fun and relax. Get away for a break somewhere where you can switch off properly.

Do some things that fill your cup that you may not have much time for normally. Such as go tramping, walking, or catching up for that overdue coffee with a friend. I had my warrant of fitness (GP visit) and a few things have came back that reflect that I haven’t been living the healthiest lifestyle!

So now I’m back to healthy eating which means, sadly, no more green onion chips and pies.  I need to fill my cup with more exercise as when I start to feel burnt out, I tend to eat crap food and indulge in too many wines….

A long weekend is also a great time to connect with family and friends and to switch off from the day to day stuff. Dust off the barbie wherever you are in New Zealand and enjoy the start of summer and the warmer days. Reach out, connect and be kind to each other.
