Updated COVID-19 Vertical, Horizontal and Residential Construction Protocols

These living documents, developed with input from Master Plumbers, provide minimum standards to be implemented to manage risk of COVID-19 transmissions. They have now been updated to apply at Alert Level 2.

Emergency PPE

At Alert Level 2, those dealing with dealing with wastewater, sewage, plumbing vents, rooftop HVAC and exhaust fans, where the COVID-19 virus may be present, should wear appropriate PPE.

Face masks

Mico and Plumbing World branches have good stocks of Ministry of Health N95 disposable respirators. Face masks should be worn as an extra precaution when working at homes with elderly occupants or people with underlying health conditions.
