Englefield
In the late Seventies, Roger Englefield, an entrepreneurial plumber from Christchurch, moved to Auckland and, recognising a niche in the market, set up a small operation in Glenfield, producing baths.
Englefield Bathroomware followed baths with shower manufacture, developing innovative products, such as the complete shower enclosure and the Cabana complete shower with ceiling. The business expanded into Australasia, winning a plethora of Plastic Institute and Design Awards along the way.
Kohler U.S.A. purchased Englefield in 2000. Englefield were, and have continued to be, market leaders in showering and bathing products. Kohler added vitreous china products (toilets and basins) to their range, so completing Englefield's Total Bathroom Solution.
Englefield products are available through leading plumbing and building merchants.
