A: EcoPlumbers is available exclusively to current full members of Master Plumbers, Gasfitters & Drainlayers NZ. The brand falls under the rules, codes of practice and codes of conduct governing Master Plumbers membership.
A: As an EcoPlumber, your company can lead the way in advising people about sustainable alternatives when they want a 'green' approach to plumbing in their homes and businesses.
New Zealand is seeing growing commitment to sustainable, socially responsible practices – and promoting the fact that you have proven knowledge in this area can give your plumbing business the competitive edge.
A: No. As long as the company principal and at least one licensed employee completes the programme, you can apply to register your company as an EcoPlumber. To continue using the brand, you must always have at least one licensed employee who has completed the training.
EcoPlumbers training is delivered at your workplace, saving you the time and cost of travelling to courses.
A: Companies using the EcoPlumbers brand complete a refresher course every two years.

There is an annual licence fee of $300 plus GST to use the EcoPlumbers brand in your business. The first year will be charged on a pro rata basis once you have completed the training.
